To God be the glory for all he has done, for all he is doing, and for all he is going to do. As ILA Local 1408 President, I care for every member God has given me to represent and I care for and thank God for future ILA Members. I am operating on a higher level and held to a higher standard, to whom much is given much is required. Therefore, I am humbly asking all ILA Local 1408 loyal and dedicated members to help me, help us. We must resist the enemy, and win.
The future has never looked better or brighter for ILA Local 1408, because as President, I will continue to look to the hills from whence cometh our help, declaring that not some, or most, but all of our help comes from God. I am truly grateful to God, and thankful to ILA Local 1408 Membership for affording me a second opportunity to serve as ILA Local 1408 President; God has allowed my set-up and my setback to be my greatest come back. To God be all the glory for his sovereignty. Get ready my sisters and brothers, multiple blessings from God are headed to us! After being duly elected as President on December 9, 2019 and taking office on January 1, 2020, I hit the ground running with the mindset of building on the good things that previous Local 1408 Presidents labored long and hard to place in effect for our membership. As President, I am committed to making our local the model local in the International. At this time, I am humbly soliciting every honorable member to join me in this monumental task. Quitting is NOT an option. Without any doubt, I know God is with me when it seems as though my back is against the wall; when there’s no where else to turn; when I can’t go up or down; when I can’t even go around. I will keep the faith because I know that God is in control. This Union has tremendously blessed me, my family, my loved ones, and so many more – I feel obligated to give back to this Local’s continued success, prosperity, and to restore unity and trust within our local so help me God! I will lead with purpose, on purpose while always remembering that Jesus is the mighty conqueror and when He says yes, nobody can say no! Where He leads me, I’ll go because righteous living has great reward. In closing, I am saying to us to never feed into the negativity. Help me to promote unity among us. Let’s stay in a position to win; we were born to win! When we think we can’t, we can’t; when we think we can, we can (Philippians 4:13 KJV). Thinking better causes us to live better and be better. I am turning pages, closing chapters, and moving on to bigger and better above and beyond all for the purpose of bringing us up, so hold on Local 1408 – Victory is ours! Don’t get weaker, get stronger, keep the faith and remember, teamwork makes the dream work! Please know this, I choose to be loyal to you my ILA sisters and brothers.
